AI Content Rules: Use AI Properly, Do Not Flood the Forge

AI can be useful.
AI can also produce 4,000 words of confident fog that says almost nothing.
This post explains how AI-related content should be used on Fyrbloc so the community stays practical, useful, and readable.

Check the output.
Add your own context.
Do not spam.
Do not pretend AI guesses are facts.

Do not post raw AI dumps
Do not paste huge AI-generated answers with no editing, testing, or explanation.

Better:

A good post should show human judgement.
AI can help you draft.
You still need to shape it.
Otherwise the forum becomes a landfill of polite paragraphs wearing bullet points.
Check facts before posting
AI can be wrong.
Sometimes very wrong.
Sometimes wrong with full confidence and nice formatting, which is honestly rude.
Before posting AI-generated advice, check:
- Is it accurate?
- Is it current?
- Does it apply to the tool/version being discussed?
- Does it make unsafe assumptions?
- Does it invent commands, laws, prices, features, or settings?
- Does it cite or link to real sources where needed?
- Have you tested it if it is technical?
Especially check technical commands.
A command that “looks right” can still break something.
The terminal does not care that the AI sounded confident.
AI code rules
AI-generated code is allowed, but post it responsibly.
When sharing code, include:

Version if relevant:
Has it been tested?

That is how chaos gets invited in.
If you did not test the code, say so.

Use carefully.
That is honest.
Honest is better than accidentally giving someone a cursed snippet with confidence.
AI images and media
AI images are allowed when they are relevant.
Good uses:

- Branding ideas
- Game ideas
- UI moodboards
- Creative references
- Visual experiments
Avoid:
- Misleading images
- Fake screenshots
- Fake product evidence
- Fake proof of work
- Fake testimonials
- Fake people presented as real
- Stolen-style claims
- Images used to deceive members
If an image is a concept, say it is a concept.
Example:
This is a concept thumbnail for my build log.
Do not pretend a mockup is a live product if it is not.
That is not marketing.
That is nonsense with lighting.
AI reviews and fake testimonials
Do not post fake reviews, fake comments, fake testimonials, or fake user feedback generated by AI.
Not allowed:
I generated 20 fake reviews for my product page and posted them as real.
Allowed:
I used AI to draft example testimonial wording, but I will only publish real testimonials from real users.
There is a line.
Do not tap dance on it.
Trust matters.
Fake trust is worse than no trust.
AI in Marketplace posts
If AI is used in a paid service, product, script, design, asset, or workflow, be clear about what is being offered.
Marketplace posts should explain:
What is human-made:
What is AI-assisted:
What the buyer receives:
What is edited or checked:
What is not included:
Any limits:
Good:
I offer AI-assisted logo concept packs. I generate multiple concepts, manually select the best ones, clean them up, and deliver PNG/JPG files.
Bad:
Premium custom logo service, 100% unique, no details.
If AI is part of the process, that is fine.
Just do not mislead people.
Clear beats mysterious.

Prompts are welcome when they are useful.

Automation should help builders.
It should not make the forum feel like a printer jam gained consciousness.
Good AI use examples
I used AI to rewrite my bug report into a clearer format before posting.
I used AI to compare two landing page headlines, then chose one and explained why.
I used AI to generate a checklist, then removed the generic advice and added Fyrbloc-specific steps.
I used AI to draft code, tested it locally, and included the exact result.

These are useful.
They show process.
They help other builders.
Bad AI use examples
Mass-posting generic AI articles.
Posting AI-written answers without checking them.
Pretending AI-generated reviews are real.
Sharing fake screenshots as proof.
Posting risky code with no warning.
Using AI to spam Marketplace offers.
Copying AI output that says a lot but helps nobody.
These make the community worse.
Do not do them.
AI post checklist
Before posting AI-assisted content, ask:
Did I check it?
Did I edit it?
Did I add my own context?
Is it useful to builders?
Is it clear what is AI-assisted?
Is it safe?
Is it accurate?
Is it not spam?
Would this help someone build, fix, learn, or decide?
If yes, post it.
If no, clean it up first.
AI can speed up work.
It should not speed up rubbish.
