Can I sell scripts, templates, services, or digital assets on Fyrbloc?
Yes. Fyrbloc has a Marketplace area for services, templates, scripts, assets,
digital products, project requests, and collaboration posts.
You may link to your own checkout, website, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, GitHub,
portfolio, or external platform, as long as the post is useful, transparent,
relevant, and not spam.
Does Fyrbloc handle payments or transactions?
No. Fyrbloc does not currently process payments, hold funds, provide escrow,
or manage transactions between members.
Any buying, selling, hiring, delivery, licensing, refunds, or disputes happen
off-platform and are handled between the people involved.
Is there buyer or seller protection?
No. Transactions are peer-to-peer and happen outside Fyrbloc. Members should use
trusted payment platforms, check licences, confirm delivery terms, and avoid risky
deals.
Fyrbloc may remove scams, fake offers, unsafe links, or misleading posts, but it
cannot guarantee any external transaction.
What counts as low-effort self-promotion?
Low-effort self-promotion means dropping a bare link with no context, repeatedly
posting the same offer, exaggerating claims, hiding pricing, or posting only to
advertise without helping the community.
A better post explains what you built, who it is for, what problem it solves,
what tech stack was used, what stage it is at, and what kind of feedback or users
you are looking for.
Posting & Content Quality
What makes an ideal build log?
A strong build log is honest and practical. Share what changed, what broke,
what you fixed, what you learned, and what you plan to build next.
- Post screenshots or short clips if useful.
- Share code snippets when they help explain the work.
- Mention real blockers, bugs, or decisions.
- Track progress over time instead of only posting finished launches.
Can I share free tools or asset libraries I did not create?
Yes. Fyrbloc values useful curation. You can share tools, APIs, asset libraries,
GitHub repos, templates, design resources, AI tools, and software you did not make.
Add context. Explain what the tool does, why it is useful, who it is best for,
whether it is free or paid, and any limits or warnings.
Can I ask for feedback on a project that uses paid APIs or commercial tools?
Yes. You can still ask for feedback. Focus the request on your own execution:
landing page copy, UI, speed, SEO, user flow, design, feature clarity, pricing page,
onboarding, or technical setup.
Troubleshooting & Technical Help
I found a bug in my code. How should I ask for help?
Give enough detail for other builders to understand the problem quickly.
- Your stack, such as Laravel, PHP, Node, Flarum, MySQL, Nginx, or CloudPanel.
- The exact error message or terminal output.
- What you were trying to do.
- What changed recently.
- What fixes you already tried.
- Relevant code snippets, without passwords, API keys, or private data.
Can I discuss self-hosted server configurations?
Yes. Fyrbloc encourages practical discussion about hosting, VPS setups, CloudPanel,
Nginx, PHP versions, databases, cron jobs, SSL, backups, open-source control panels,
and self-hosted platforms.
Can I post terminal commands or server logs?
Yes, but remove sensitive information first. Never post passwords, private keys,
API tokens, database credentials, secret URLs, personal data, or private server
details.
Support & Moderation
What should I do if I see spam, scams, or unsafe links?
Report it if report tools are available, or contact Fyrbloc directly. Do not argue
with spam accounts or click suspicious links.
